The guitar was likely gifted to Page by the Roland Corporation for research and development purposes. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from "Vintage Guitar Gems" and a copy of the Roland Users Group magazine, Volume 2, Number 3, 1984, featuring a cover shot of Jimmy Page playing the Roland G-707 and an article discussing the innovative instrument.
