Lot 343 JOHNNY CASH OWNED AND PLAYED GUITAR Alvarez acoustic guitar, Serial number 53444, Model number DY56BB. This guitar was sold to a friend of the Cash’s at a yearly holiday sale at the Cash home. It is accompanied by a photocopied note from Johnny Cash which reads: "Sold to Virginia Hallett my blue Alvarez guitar w/case for the sum of $500.00. Johnny Cash" also included is a photocopied photograph of the Hallett's with Cash and a note from Virginia Hallett on how she came to purchase the item.
