A vintage World War II era Type A-2 leather flight jacket manufactured by Perry Sportswear Inc. , with handpainted embellishments, including numerous bombs to indicate the number of cities bombed or missions completed, one of which is marked "D-Day," and a representation on the back of the jacket of the crewman's B-17 bomber with the caption "G.I. Jive." The markings on the jacket potentially link it to the 364th Squadron, 305th Bombardment Group, of the Eighth Air Force. Stenciled in the lining back is the crewman's name, Roy L.
