Sold for:
$6,250

A 22-piece collection of Marilyn Monroe’s earning records from 20th Century Fox. The quarterly records span from 1946 to 1953 beginning after Monroe’s first contract with Fox in August 1946. The weekly accounting of Monroe’s salary illustrates the actress’ rise in star power throughout her career at Fox. In 1953, 20th Century Fox released three Monroe films: How to Marry A Millionaire , Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Niagra . The records reflect two different employee numbers for Monroe, 63015 and 661616, most likely due to the break in her contract with Fox. Each, 5 1/2 by 11 inches Categories: Marilyn Monroe
