A military jacket worn by Gregory Peck as Tom Rath in the motion picture The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit (20th Century, 1956) starring Jennifer Jones and Fredric March. The green wool ike military jacket has a slight peaked lapel, four-button closure, two flap pouch pockets, epaulets and two-bar chevron patch at each shoulder and red, white, and blue circular patch at sleeve. An internal handwritten Western Costume reads “99-2453-1. Gregory Peck, chest 44.” Insignia has been added for display purposes only. The film centers around a former soldier who faces ethical questions as he tries to earn enough money to support his wife and children. Post-production alterations are present.
