A vermilion and golden yellow velvet period gown worn by Joan Bennett as Princess Maria Theresa in The Man in the Iron Mask (United Artists, 1939). The gown is embellished with velvet floral and fauna applique work with gold bullion trim and rhinestones set in metal prongs. The bodice is boned with padding to the bust. The skirt is composed of two layers. Costume design by Bridgehouse. A United Costumers label reads "No 21G Joan Bennett," and an "S. Goldwyn" stamp is on the interior.
