Acrylic, paint and polyurethane on fiberglass. Derek Wagner studied architecture at Auburn University, and visual arts at the University of Florida. Since beginning his artistic career in 2005, he has enjoyed unusual success as an emerging artist. His paintings can be found in private homes and corporate collections from Washington D.C. to the Bahamas. In addition to fine art, he has worked as a scenic artist in various zoos, theme parks, and museums including the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. Derek and his family now live in Orlando, Florida. Website: www.dhwagner.com The design was inspired by the artwork on the pick guard of the Gibson Acoustic Hummingbird.
