Gold, gem accented scissors, framed and mounted with a plaque that reads “State Fair of Texas October 6, 1984. ” The scissors were used by Ann Miller to cut the ribbon for the opening of the Texas State Fair in 1984. Miller and Mickey Rooney performed “Sugar Babies” at the Fair Music Hall that year. Miller asked to keep the scissors after the ribbon cutting ceremony. Miller was a proud native of Texas. Accompanied by four color photographs of Miller at the ribbon cutting ceremony.
