Two heavily embellished gold and green costume pieces worn by the dancers in Star (20th Century, 1958). The first piece is a pair of harem pants with one leg of sheer yellow with bugle bead and rhinestone flowers and emerald rhinestone dots, the other of gold floral lame with amber and emerald rhinestone details. The pants have a satin waistband that is heavily garnished with faux crystals, rhinestones and gold flowers. The second piece is a cropped fitted striped top with bell sleeves. The top is embellished at the bust and cuffs with rhinestones, faux crystals, and gold flowers. A 20th Century Fox label in the top. Costume design by Donald Brooks.
