Dated Oct. 20, 1921, Kellar writes at length about the popularity of the Sawing A Woman in Half trick: “It is strange how many follow when one makes a hit with an illusion…Thayer is building many “sawing” tricks – Alexander claims he did it years ago but he is a cheerful liar & likes it…[Golding threatens law suits to all who infringe his rights (?).” Written on three real-photo postcards depicting views of Kellar’s Los Angeles home. Signed, “Your friend, Kellar.”
