Women of the Circus Photo Archive. 1920s – 1940s. Thirty-seven different original 8 x 10” photographs depicting female performers in the American circus, including an inscribed and signed Mabel Stark photo montage in which she wrestles tigers; also with trapeze artists, equilibrists, dancers, jugglers, equestriennes, and various portraits. Several inscribed and signed by various performers to Ada Mae Sabo, sideshow snake charmer, Dec., 1949. Good to very good.
