Attributed to Guido Caccipuoti (Italian, 1892-1953) Young Girl Holding a Basket of Flowers Signed "Caccipuoti... " l.l. Oil on canvas, 28 x 20 in. (71.0 x 51.0 cm), framed. Condition: Scattered minor paint losses, dimple in canvas to right side of the figure, varnish inconsistencies, minor surface grime. N.B. The initial to the right of the signature could be read as a capital "G" or perhaps an "E." There are few, if any, examples of Guido Caccipuoti paintings, but the figure type shown here is reminiscent of his figurines. Estimate $300-500 Framed dimensions are 34 x 25 7/8 x 2 inches.
