Giovanni Battista Tiepolo (Italian, 1696-1770) Three Soldiers and a Boy, plate 2 from Capricci, c. 1749 (DeVesme, 4; Rizzi 1970, 29 i/i; Rizzi 1971, 30 i/i). Signed within the plate. Etching on laid paper, plate size 5 5/8 x 6 7/8 in. (14.2 x 17.3 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Margins approximately 1/8 in., minor staining (primarily near upper and lower edges).
