Condition: Patch reinforcements, retouch, craquelure. Provenance: Young Fine Arts, May 4, 1996, Lot 128, as Attributed to Puvis de Chavannes. Estimate $700-900 Framed dimensions are 41 1/4 x 41 1/4 x 1 3/4 inches. The spandrels of the frame are a thin piece of matboard painted gold, and there is a break in the mat board at the c.r. edge of the circle.
