George V Sterling Silver Dessert Service, center bowl: London 1922-23, and twelve sherbets: Sheffield, 1930-31, Mappin & Webb Ltd. , maker, each with a reticulated rim and two sets of glass inserts: one frosted and other green, center bowl dia. 9 in., approx. 86.3 troy oz. Estimate $1,000-1,500 One sherbet with small dent to foot. Otherwise in good overall condition with only light surface wear. Two large frosted glass liners each with a couple minor flaked losses to edge. One smaller green glass sherbet with fleabite nick to edge and one smaller frosted sherbet with a worn area to outer edge. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
