Chippendale Walnut Slant-lid Desk, 18th century, (losses), ht. 42 1/2, wd. 38 1/4, dp. 22 in. Estimate $400-600 both front feet are detached but with the desk, the piece is refinished, looseness to back feet, patch and loss to interior door and hinges of the lid, hinges replaced, lid and drawers don't close flush to the case, and a few small shrinkage cracks to the sides.
