Red-painted Pine Hanging Cupboard, with tombstone opening and two shaped shelves, ht. 26 1/4, wd. 18 3/4 in. Provenance: Lillian Cogan Auction, Christie's, 1992. Estimate $300-500 small loss to the top right of the cornice, some losses to the base and sides, splits to the interior of the backboards, paint is not original but does have an older dry surface, the piece is constructed with rosehead and square nails, and no evidence of old doors. Piece appears to be made of old wood and not a period cabinet Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
