Octavo, with the first appearance in print of the lyrics of America's national anthem under the title, "Defence of Fort M'Henry," its original title, to the tune of "Anacreon in Heaven," found on page 433, with the following note, "These lines have been already published in several of our newspapers; they may still, however, be new to many of our readers. Besides, we think that their merit entitles them to preservation in some more permanent form than the columns of a daily paper.", bound in full contemporary leather, 8 x 5 in.
