Staffordshire Creamware Miniature Melon Tea Service, England, c. 1760, each rouletted and with green and yellow enamel striping, including one teapot and cover, ht. 2 1/8, creamer, ht. 1 3/4, four tea bowls, dia. 1 1/2, five saucers, dia. 2 3/4, and a tea bowl, dia. 3 in. Estimate $3,000-5,000 Teapot: Chip restored to cover; slightest nicks to teapot rim and lip of spout. Creamer: Several small rim chips. Tea bowls: One with two rim hairlines and two chips under footrim. Saucers: Interior glaze wear to each. Tea bowl: Interior staining; footrim chip.
