Staffordshire Creamware Tea Party Teapot and Cover, England, late 18th century, double entwined handle, polychrome decorated black transfer printed with a "tea party" to one side, shepherd to the reverse, ht. 4 1/2 in. Cover: 1" rim chip repair (needs redoing); glaze flakes and chips surrounding rim. Pot: lower half of spout chipped and poorly filled in; numerous small rim chips; hairlines radiating from the top rim of 3/4, 1 1/2 and 3 1/4".
