Pair of Small Satsuma Flask Vases, Japan, 19th century, flattened circular form with waisted sides and small raised neck and mouth, resting on a short stem foot, both decorated with a legendary figure on one side and a bird-and-flower design on the other, one signed "Gyokushu" on base, ht. 4 5/8 in.
