Arts and Crafts Elm and Oak Coffer, probably Britain, early 20th century with earlier components, rectangular lid with iron hardware over a conforming case with side pull handles, with an inscribed metal plaque on interior: "TOOL CHEST of the late W. E. GLADSTONE," ht. 19, wd. 39, dp. 20 1/2 in. Estimate $600-800 Top is earlier but has been modified. Some earlier and later hardware elements. Age-typical wear overall including some nicks and scuffs, chips around hardware areas, rubbing to all surfaces.
