Pair of Rebecca Cauman Arts & Crafts Bookends Enameled copper metalwork Boston, Massachusetts, 1924-27 Arched form with engraved linear outline framing the central round medallion depicting a potted orange tree with green foliage, amber trunk, and orange fruit on a cobalt blue ground, impressed CAUMAN on back, ht. 5 1/2, wd. 5 7/8, dp. 5 1/4 in. Note: Rebecca Cauman is listed in The Society of Arts and Crafts Boston Exhibition Record 1897-1927. She received Master Craftsman status in 1924. Scratches to copper surface associated with age and normal use. One has enamel loss in blue area on edge.
