Walnut Sugar Chest, southern United States, c. 1810-20, the rectangular top above a deep divided well on a slightly projecting skirt with drawer joining four turned legs, refinished, (repairs, restoration), ht. 38, wd. 24, dp. 20 in. Estimate $1,500-2,500 top patched at back edge, backboard patched along upper edge, small loss from edge veneer at back right of top.
