(Dutch, 1648-1727) Forest Scene oil on canvas 29 3/4 x 37 7/8 inches. Likely lined. Craquelure throughout. Canvas is fairly dirty overall. Instances of blanching to the paint layer in both the lower-left and lower-right corners. Abrasion along the lower horizontal edge of the canvas, perhaps from a previous frame. Examination under UV light reveals scattered areas of retouch, particularly to all four corners and along the lower horizontal edge.
