Three Miniature Portraits on Copper: Attributed to Cornelis de Vos, Seated Portrait of a Man in a Fancy Ruff and Dark Cloak, Set in a Painted Oval, faintly monogrammed c. r., 3 1/2 x 2 5/8 in. (8.8 x 6.7 cm), framed; English School, 16th Century, Head of a Man in a Van Dyck Beard, 1 3/4 x 1 3/8 in. (4.3 x 3.5 cm), unframed; Italian School, 17th Century, Head of a Bearded Monk Looking Upward, inscribed "No. 667" and with other partial notations on the reverse, 3 1/4 x 2 5/8 in. (8.1 x 6.6 cm). Condition: Van Dyck Beard with paint losses and craquelure, Monk with surface imperfections and varnish inconsistencies, Seated Man with minor losses and craquelure. Provenance: The estate of George Way. Estimate $800-1,200 Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
