Seroy, Harold (American, 1902 – 1997). Original Gilda Poster Concept Artwork. Columbia, 1946. Watercolor and gouache on artist’s vellum, matting tape affixed in the margins outside the painted area. Depicting Rita Hayworth in the famous sheath dress, a fine rendering of the pose she struck for the original publicity shooting for the film. Image 14 ¼ x 5 ½”. Signed by Seroy in the lower left corner. Fine.
