A piece of original Tom Wilkes preliminary artwork for the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival poster composed of multiple overlays. This portion of the poster includes the event date at the top and the central figure that appears on the final poster. The artwork is mounted to illustration board, and printing notations are written on the margin of the artwork and on the board. Housed in a frame; has not been examined outside of the frame.
