19th century having a rectangular, marble inset top with inlaid brass banding over a single drawer, raised on a turned standard centering four painted dolphins resting on a quadripartite base with paw feet. Height 30 x width 23 3/4 x depth 15 inches. Property from the Collection of The Steins, Glencoe, Illinois In overall good, complete, usable condition. Marble top intact without cracks or repairs, fairly dirty. Drawer opens and closes smoothly. Some looseness to joints connecting top to base. Base intact but with some chips and losses to gilt and painted finish. One dolphin fin detached but retained.
