Anthony A. Ferrara (United States ,1930), "Fishtown Industrial", framed oil on canvas; measures approximately 19-5/8" x 27-1/2" with a sight image of approximately 15-1/2" x 23-3/8". Signed and dated to lower right with title on the stretcher verso. Contemporary artist Anthony A Ferrara is considered by some to be one of Philadelphia's "great cityscape artists". He studied at Temple's Tyler School of Art where he earned his Master of Fine Arts degree in 1963. He also attended the Fleisher Art Memorial where he studied under Ben Eisenstat. Among his many venues were the Wayne Art Center, the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts (Atlantic City ), the Toro Gallery in Huntington Valley, Tagliareni Fine Art and most recently, the Chestnut Hill Gallery.
