Polychrome Enameled Creamware Cybele Teapot and Cover, England, c. 1770-82, probably Staffordshire and attributed to Greatbatch, cylindrical shape with beaded borders, floral knop, ear-shaped handle and foliate spout, one side with depiction of Cybele seated in her chariot pulled by a lion and lioness, the reverse with Bacchus seated astride a barrel flanked by fruiting grapevines, gilded accents and trim throughout, ht. 5 1/2 in.
