Framed autograph on paper, signed by former United States' President and actor Ronald Reagan with blue ink inscription that reads "Stardom Is A Strait-Jacket" above "Ronald Reagan" with pencil marks throughout including "1 Ros. SS." and additional sketches or doodles. Framed 22" x 19.75". Sheet size approximately 8.5" square. Note: From an address from the Oval Office on January 11, 1989, Reagan was quoted "The other day, someone told me the difference between a democracy and a “people's democracy” [communism]. It's the same as the difference between a jacket and a straitjacket." This inscribed autograph is another example of his use of "strait-jacket" as an analogy.
