Meissen (German, founded 1710- ), late 19th century. A l charming porcelain figural group after the original modeled by Michel Victor Acier, circa 1776, depicting a girl and dog, the girl in 18th century dress, seated on a stool with fancy cushion, holding a mirror on her lap for the dog to see its reflection. Marked to the underside with crossed swords in blue underglaze, incised 138. Approximate height 5.87", diameter of base 2.5".
