Rosewood Veneer Tunbridgeware Gaming Table, England, late 19th century, the rectangular folding checkerboard top pivots and opens to reveal a felt playing surface and cribbage boards, and is further hinged to open above a compartmented interior, on a trapezoidal plinth, circular platform, and four carved legs, the table decorated throughout with intricate patterned veneer work, ht. 26 1/2, wd. 21 1/2, dp. 15 3/4 in.
