Chippendale Cherry Carved Base to High Chest, attributed to Elijah Booth, Woodbury, Connecticut, late 18th century, the rectangular gadrooned carved top above a case of thumbmolded long drawer and central fan with scroll-carved short drawer flanked by two graduated drawers on four cabriole legs with shell-carved knees and C-scroll returns ending in claw and ball feet, replaced brasses, old refinish, (imperfections), ht. 36, wd. 42 1/2, dp. 22 in.
