Chippendale Cherry Carved Chest on Chest, Woodbury, Connecticut area, 1770-90, the scrolled and molded cornice includes flame finials above the shallow carved and outlined central shell flanked by a double row of small drawers on four graduated thumb-molded drawers which are contained in the lower case above a molded base with ogee bracket feet, some original and some replaced brass, old refinish, ht. 83 1/2, wd. 36, dp. at lower case 19 in.
