Early Key-Wind Musical Box by Ducommun Girod, No. 6163, playing Men of Harlech and three other airs, the brass bedplate stamped Ducommun Girod , in plain fruitwood case with instant stop and exposed controls, wd. 12 in., cylinder 7 1/2 in., (four early replaced teeth, possibly factory repairs). Note: A similar exposed-controls musical box by Ducommun Girod, No. 7139, was sold in Science and Technology , 3 November 2005, lot 426. There are approximately 112 teeth in the comb, and the movement is in excellent playing condition.
