Attributed to Giuseppe Cesare, called Cavaliere d'Arpino (Italian, 1568-1640) Two Male Heads with Turbans Signed or inscribed "cavr. Darpino" l.l., inscribed "Cavre. d'Arpino.-." (with additional inscriptions removed) on the reverse, bookplate inscribed "Ducit amor patriae Milford" affixed to the reverse. Ink and graphite on paper, 7 1/2 x 10 1/2 in. (19.1 x 26.6 cm), framed. Condition: Unobtrusive toning, edges overlaid with paper, pinholes to corners.
