Whiting Manufacturing Company Sterling Trophy Tankard, New York, late 19th century, squat baluster form, with high relief decoration of a nymph riding a seahorse through surf, over band of ribbon, one side with acid etched inscription "Larchmont Yacht Club, 25th Annual Regatta won by Elmina," the domed lid chased and embossed with shells, acanthus handle, and rocaille feet, ht. 12 1/2 in., approx. 74 troy oz.
