Victorian Silver Kettle on Stand, Sheffield, 1870, maker's mark CF, ovoid, with upright scroll handle, lid with flower stem finial engraved with leafy scrolls, grapevines and roundels, on stand with C-scroll legs enclosing burner, and conjoined by openwork foliate panels, full ht. 15 1/2 in., approx. 60 troy oz. minor age wear, and light pinpoints to bulbous portion of body, esp. at roundels. marks good.
