American Mahogany Quarter-chiming and Nine-tube Long Case Clock, early 20th century, dial signed Nelson H. Brown, Boston, hood with swan's neck cresting and three turned finials above columnar supports and an arched door enclosing a brass, steel and painted face, with lunar phases in the arch and subsidiary dials for Chime/Silent, seconds and Westminster/Chime on Eight Bells, with chime/silent lever; mid-case with presentation plaque, glass door and engaged columns, plinth base with paw feet, ht. 101 in. Case with old crackled finish and with some crazing. Hood door with no glass; and front right corner of hood chipped and with losses; works apparently in good condition; working condition not guaranteed; tubes and weights present.
