Pair of Brass Baluster-form Andirons and a Small Brass and Wirework Fire Fender, America, 19th century, the andirons c. 1830, supported on cabriole legs and ball feet, with conforming baluster finial log stops, (small loss on one log stop), ht. 14 3/4, wd. 8 1/2, dp. 17 1/4; the fire fender c. 1800 with brass rail over vertical wirework ornamented with swags and scrolls, ht. 17 3/4, wd. 30 3/4, dp. 13 1/2 in. Small loss to base of one log stop, does not thread firmly onto log supports.
