Historic Blue Staffordshire Pottery Covered Sauce Tureen with Undertray, Clews, second quarter, 19th century, depicting the "Landing of Gen. La Fayette at New York 1824", impressed maker's marks on base, ht. 4 1/2 in. very small spots of glaze loss to edges of cover, a few small chips to interior fitter rim of cover, one handle shows a darker glazed area but is in the making, not a repair.
