Walnut Inlaid Dower Chest, probably Chester County, Pennsylvania, late 18th century, the molded lift top opens to a deep well and a lidded till with two hidden drawers above a dovetail-constructed box with contrasting tulips inlay, the stems terminating in hearts surrounded by stringing, with applied molding below and three cockbeaded short drawers, all on bracket feet, old eagle brass pulls, refinished, (minor imperfections and minor restoration), ht. 29, wd. 47 1/4, dp. 22 1/2 in.
