French, 19th century. French Louis XIII style walnut carved fauteuil having a leaning rectangular upholstered back with curved arms and supports above an upholstered seat raised on block and turned legs joined by H shaped stretcher. The back and seat covered in red raised floral fabric secured with large brass nail heads. Height 47", width 24"(arm to arm), seat depth 20", seat height 18".
