'OSBORNE' AMERICAN CHERRY TALL CASE CLOCK, C. 1790, H 92", W 20":Has four freestanding tapered pillars, metal hand-painted face and revolving moon phase dial. e. Seconds dial with day of week indicator. Raised on short feet and has a lower panel with central cock-beaded door. Strikes at the hour. Works are in brass. The hood has a scroll arch pediment. Back of face plate is stamped "Osborne". Working in home. Clock was purchased by grandparents of present consignor: Thomas McCullough Everhard of Massillon, Ohio circa 1900. (rev.20070316)
