Horizontal landscape painting with figures depicting a horse drawn hay wagon at center on a rocky wide dirt road lead by a figure in blue holding a crop or switch over his right shoulder as he faces away from the viewer at right, the figural group traveling from left to right and backed by a hillside covered in dark green grass with a few tall trees and under a sky filled with dark clouds. Indistinguishable stencil mark to verso of canvas. Framed approximately 26.5" x 29.5". Unframed approximately 20.25" x 23".
