Continental, Early 20th Century. French Empire style mahogany gueridon or side table, circular in form with ribbon and foliate carved edge over an apron carved with arcaded fluting and rosettes on four fluted legs, each headed with ram masks and terminating on hairy hoof feet, united by a shaped stretcher centered with flambeau style finial. Stretcher is broken and not affixed to one of the legs. Can be easily repaired. Height 29.5", diameter 24".
