“Skeletonized Wood and Brass” Léon Hatot, (ATO), No. 152662. Made circa 1960. Fine, skeletonized, palissander and brass electric mantel clock with glazed frame. Mahogany with brushed brass moldings, rectangular, glazed cover, the base housing the batteries, four adjustable screw feet for levelling. Annular matte silvered chapter ring with polished radial Roman numerals and outer dot minute indexes, gilt brass borders, subsidiary seconds. Gilt brass luminous “fleur-de-lys” and “arrow” hands. Exposed brass “H” frame, electromagnetic pendulum with rating adjustment. Movement signed. Dim. 22 x 22 x 12 cm. Property of a French Gentleman
