“BRITISH MILITARY WRISTWATCH” Omega, No. 10199779, case No. 10670661, Ref. CK 2444. Sold to the British Ministry of Defense on August 17, 1945. Fine and rare, water-resistant, stainless steel aviator’s wristwatch. This watch is sold with a box, Certificate of Authenticity and 2-year Omega guarantee. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, curved lugs with fixed bars, back engraved with “w.w.w.” (waterproof wristwatch), broad arrow, “Y 6462” and “10670661”. Black with painted luminous “Arabic moderne” numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial, broad arrow emblem. Luminous steel “baton” hands. Cal. 30 T2 “chronometer”, frosted gilt, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to four positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 12 mm. Notes Cal. 30 T2 was adjusted in four positions with special regulation to less than ten seconds per day. Ref. CK 2444 was made in 1945 in 25,000 ‘examples, for the British Armed Forces.
